Candle Making Wax
I am looking for a mystery theme. She likes Nancy Drew. We have the movie (99min) and the sound track. Hoping for some ideas leaning toward an unsolved crime w/ clues the kids can put together to "solve" the case…Not interested in purchasing a kit, i like to get favors/props from Oriental Traders, dollar store and party stores. Not sure yet about the sleepover option… For a cake i bought the baseball pan, going to make it into a "bomb" instead w/ the sparkly candles that relight. Any ideas greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

my 11 year old little sis just had a clue bday party which i organized and set up
she had a scavenger hunt for clues
and each person had a profile such as miss peacock, and a reason for murdering "mr. boddy"…
here is the link we based her party on: http://www.birthdaypartyideas.com/html/winners_67.html
it was so much fun! all the girls dressed up in vintage dresses from thrift stores…
we made up a story and clues for the teams to find… for goody bags we gave each girl a clip board with their initial gemmed on it and a little note pad, pen, and mystery book…

im a teenager and the sleepover sounds like a good idea tens love sleepovers…you could maybe have them do like a scavenger hunt type of thing around the neighbor hood or around town one of my friends did it around town and it was very fun…it would take more work cuz you’d have to have parents driving around teams but ur daughter wouald have so much fun it would be worth it…but again it may be to much work..just a suggestion…hope i could help
Have the kids go on a scavenger hunt to find the presents or the cake. Put rhyming clues around the house or have them go around the neighborhood. Each clue leads to another place, so they have to figure out where they’re going.
