my friend just puts her old candles in a pot on top of the wood stove. When ever it’s melted she just refills her molds.
Please be careful, paraffin wax is EXTREMELY flammable and is very hard to put out. If you get a very big flame, try to move it to a remote location (in the driveway without any cars or flammable objects nearby) and spray with a high-power water hose. Remember to stay away from it when you spray it, it reacts like an oil fire (pouring water on it makes it produce a huge fireball).
